Type notes:
Type-depositories listed are as noted in the introduction to the publication, but the depository of Tetramorium shirlae holotype not expressly stated. It should be noted that Tetramorium shirlae does not appear in more recent keys to Saudi Arabian Tetramorium species (Sharaf et al., 2012, and Sharaf et al., 2015).
