Primary type information: Primary type material: 8 syntype workers. Primary type locality: Turkey: Erbeyll, 14.vi.1947 (C. Kosswig). Primary type depository: BMNH. Primary type specimens: CASENT0903594, CASENT0903595. Type notes: Seifert, 2019b: 18, mentions a “lectotype and paratype”, but does not formally designate a lectotype.
