Primary type information: Primary type material: 1 syntype major worker or queen, 1 syntype minor worker. Primary type locality: Ecuador: Galapagos Is, Floreana I., Postoffice Bay, 4.xi.1925 (A. Wollebaek). Primary type depository: MNHU (or perhaps NNHM). Type notes: Symbol in text is an inverted “female” sign; it is unclear if this signifies major worker or queen. Fig. 3 is of a minor worker.
