Primary type depository: MZSP. Primary type specimen: MZSP0084886. Secondary type information: Secondary type material: 22 paratype workers. Secondary type locality: same as for holotype. Secondary type depositories: BMNH, CPDC, IAVH, IMLT, JTLC, LACM, MCZC, MIZA, MZSP, PSWC, USNM, WEMC. Type notes: 1) Paratypes are also recorded in UNCB, an abbreviation not listed by Fernández, 2004a: 194. 2) Ulysséa et al., 2025: Table S1, cite holotype worker, 8 paratype minor workers (MZSP0084887 to MZSP0084894) in MZSP. The collection date given for the paratypes is 1.iv.1954, which differs from what is given in the original description.
