Primary type information: Primary type material: holotype worker. Primary type locality: Trinidad and Tobago: Trinidad, Caparo, 12.ii.1910 (P.B. Whelpley). Primary type depository: MCZC. Type notes: Troya & Lattke, 2022: 42, mistakenly designated specimen MCZENT20454, deposited at MCZC, as a paralectotype without naming a lectotype. Moreover, the original description cites only one worker specimen, making any subsequent lectotype designation redundant. The specimen deposited at MCZC is likely the holotype.
