Most Crematogaster material mentioned in the publication was collected in the Democratic Republic of Congo (“Congo belge”), during 1920-21, by H. Schouteden; Crematogaster rustica possibly conforms to this pattern. 3) A specimen (CASENT0912815) in NHMB labelled as a type has the collection information Uganda: Ruwenzori, 2000 m (Dr. Bequaert).
