Secondary type information: Secondary type material: 1 paratype minor worker. Secondary type locality: same as for holotype. Secondary type depositories: MCZC, MZSP. Type notes: 1) Details of paratype castes and their numbers are not given. 2) Wilson, 2003a does not specify the holotype depository but Mônica Ulysséa says that it is in MZSP. 3) There are specimens from Brazil: São Paulo: Itirapina, labelled as paratypes by Wilson, in MZSP. However, according to Casadei-Ferreira (personal communication 2023), the original publication does not state clearly whether these specimens are part of the type series or not. Therefore, they are being considered as ‘possibly types’ (Ulysséa et al., 2025: 12).
