Primary type information: Primary type material: holotype worker. Primary type locality: Ivory Coast: Lamto Field Station of the University of Abidjan (ca 50 km. S Toumodi, 6°13’N, 5°41’W), 16.viii.1965, nest AA 104 (J. Lévieux). Primary type depository: MNHN. Secondary type information: Secondary type material: paratype workers, paratype queens, paratype males (numbers not stated). Secondary type locality: some with same data but others with variant dates and nest numbers. The authors do not provide details but mention “type-nest and 4 additional samples”, comprising at least 15 workers, 5 queens and 2 males. Secondary type depositories: BMNH, MCZC, MNHN. Secondary type specimen: CASENT0906001.
