Primary type information: Type-material: 2 syntype workers. Type-localities: Indonesia: Seram, “Cer” (A.R. Wallace), and Buru, “B” (A.R. Wallace). Type-depository: OXUM. Type notes: The Buru specimen does not match the original description, the Seram specimen does. It is assumed that the original Buru worker was lost, and later replaced with a substitute which is not conspecific.
