Eciton (Acamatus) raptans var. rebellatum Santschi, 1934c: 25, pl. 3, figs. 4, 6, 10, 14, 19 (w.m.) ARGENTINA (Córdoba). Neotropic.
Primary type information: Type-material: syntype workers (number not stated), 1 syntype male. Type-locality: Argentina: Córdoba, Alta Gracia, No.Q1 (C. Bruch). Type-depository: NHMB. Type notes: Santschi mentions workers and a queen from Argentina: Santa Fé, Fives Lille (Weiser) as referable to Neivamyrmex raptans rebellatum, but these are not included in the description and perhaps should be excluded from the typeseries.
