Primary type information: Primary type material: syntype workers, syntype queens (numbers not stated). Primary type locality: Australia: Victoria, Otway Ranges, Beech Forest, i.1932 (J. Clark). Primary type depositories: ANIC, MVMA. Type notes: Shattuck, 1994: 112, cites holotype worker, 17 paratype workers, 2 paratype queens, but Clark did not designate a holotype.
