Primary type information: Type-material: lectotype worker (by designation of Rakotonirina & Fisher, 2014: 129). Type-locality: lectotype Comoros: Mohali (= Mohéli) I. (A. Voeltzkow). Type-depository: MNHU. Type-specimen: CASENT0104565 (Leptogenys stuhlmanni, in ZMHB). Secondary type information: Paratype-material: 6 paralectotype workers. Paratype-locality: same as for lectotype. Paratype-depository: MHNG. Type notes: Other members of the original syntype series are present in MCZC and NHMB.
