Type notes: 1) Radchenko, 2007: 38 and Seifert et al., 2024: 36, cite 2 original syntype workers. 2) Seifert et al., 2024: 36, state that the paralectotype worker labelled "Spec. type No. 5093 Formica glabrella Nyl." belongs to Tapinoma subboreale.
