Primary type information: Type-material: holotype worker. Type-locality: Colombia: Venecia (nr Medelin), v.1956, #56-6029 (S.E. Flanders). Type-depository: USNM. Secondary type information: Paratype-material: 3 paratype workers. Paratype-locality: same as for holotype. Paratype-depositories: AMNH, MCZC, MZSP.
