| Type notes | According to a label at the MZSP Ant Collection, three paratype workers were loaned to Brown. Most of Brown's collection is at MCZC, with a smaller portion at CUIC. Both institutions were visited, but these type specimens could not be located. However, Dr. Dash not only examined these specimens but also designated a lectotype (Dash, 2011). Recently, Dr. MacKay confirmed that these types are in his collection at the University of Texas (WEMC). (Mônica Antunes Ulysséa) |
