Primary type material: syntype workers, syntype queens, syntype males (numbers not stated). Primary type locality: Australia: Western Australia, Mundaring Weir, nos 21, 22, 57, 124, 147 (J. Clark). Primary type depositories: MCZC, MHNG, NHMB, OXUM.
Type notes:
1) Baroni Urbani, 1977e: 79, cites 1 worker syntype in NHMB. 2) Shattuck, 1994: 33, cites 16 worker, 6 queen, 3 male syntypes (3 workers, 2 queens in MCZC, 7 workers, 2 queens, 1 male in MHNG, 1 worker in NHMB, 5 workers, 2 queens, 2 males in OXUM). 3) Shattuck, 1994 also cites specimens from Lion Mill, which are not type-material.
