Anillidris bruchi Santschi, 1936 valid
Anillidris bruchi Santschi, 1936d: 414, figs. 21-28 (w.) ARGENTINA (Misiones). Neotropic.
Primary type information: Primary type material: syntype workers (number not stated). Primary type locality: Argentina: Misiones, Loreto, 9.ix.1934 (A.A. Ogloblin). Primary type depositories: MZSP, NHMB. Type notes: 1) Baroni Urbani, 1977e: 77, and Shattuck, 1994: 3, cite 10 worker syntypes in NHMB. 2) The series in NHMB have the collection date given as 9.IX.1933, rather than 1934 as stated in the description. Nevertheless, it appears these are indeed the syntypes based on congruence of the remaining information to the description. There are additionally male and female alates in NHMB with the same locality data and red "type" labels, but these cannot be types as the syntype series consisted only of workers ("ouvrières").
