Baikuris ocellantis Sosiak et al., 2024: 1756, figs. 1B, 1C, S2 (m.) U.S.A. (North Carolina, Campanian amber).
Primary type information: Primary type material: holotype male. Primary type locality: U.S.A.: North Carolina, along the Neuse River near Goldsboro, a locality that is part of the Cretaceous Black Creek Formation; from an amber deposit in an Upper Cretaceous (Campanian) outcrop. Primary type depository: AMNH. Primary type specimen: AMNH-NC-MSE-2 (centrally located within amber piece (i.e., ‘‘ant 1’’ of Krynicki). Secondary type information: Secondary type material: 2 paratype males. Secondary type locality: same as for holotype (in same piece of amber). Secondary type depository: AMNH. Secondary type specimens: AMNH-NC-MSE-2b, AMNH-NC-MSE-2c (corresponding to ‘‘ants 2 and 3’’ of Krynicki).
