Leptogenys (Lobopelta) binghamii Forel, 1900f: 310 (w.) MYANMAR. Indomalaya.

Primary type information: Type-material: syntype workers (number not stated). Type-locality: Myanmar (“Burma”): (no further data) (C.T. Bingham). Type-depository: MHNG (possibly also OXUM). Type notes: 1) Bingham, 1903: 66 gives locality data as, “Upper Burma: Tenasserim, Karennee (Bingham)”, which is probably the type-locality. 2) Hamer et al., 2024: 179, erroneously refer to an ergatoid queen collected by M. T. Hamer in Hong Kong on 3.ix.2023 and deposited in IBBL as a paratype.
