Primary type localities: “Tripolis, Aegypten, Nubien und am rothen Meer” (= Libya, Egypt, Sudan, Red Sea) (Schaum, Ehrenberg, and Sichel). Primary type depository: MNHU (perhaps also DEIB, MNHN, ZSBS).
