Primary type information: Primary type material: syntype workers (number not stated). Primary type locality: Argentina: Rosario de Santa Fé (C. Bruch). Primary type depository: MHNG. Type notes: Pacheco & Mackay, 2013: 221, designate a lectotype worker and 4 paralectotype workers, but apparently from Argentina: Córdoba, 3 Canals (Weiser), not from the type-locality (Santa Fé), the only place mentioned in the original description.
