Primary type information: Primary type material: holotype (?) minor worker. Primary type locality: none given ("ohne Vaterlandsangabe") . Primary type depository: NHMW. Type notes: 1) No indication of number of specimens is given. Original description implies only a single specimen, which Eguchi, 2001a: 10, has designated as lectotype. 2) Type locality was given as Singapore by Chapman & Capco, 1951: 141, but there is no evidence that this is correct.
