Type notes: 1) In the orginal description Emery also mentions a queen. 2) Type- locality: lectotype Costa Rica: Alajuela, Juan Viñas (data from Emery, 1890c: 42, repeated in MacKay & MacKay, 2010: 393); paralectotype with same data.
