Poulton). Primary type depository: unknown (perhaps OXUM). Type notes: 1) Shattuck, 1994: 104, cites syntypes (2 workers, 1 queen, 1 male) from Australia: New South Wales, Blue Mts, nr Mt Victoria (in OXUM), a locality not mentioned in the original description (but which is the original type locality of Iridomyrmex mattiroloi parcens). 2) Heterick & Shattuck, 2011: 153, say the Healesville syntypes could not be located and are apparently lost.
