Primary type information: Primary type material: holotype queen. Primary type locality: U.S.A: Florida, Alachua County, Gainesville, USDA Laboratory, 12.viii.1980 (J.C. Trager). Primary type depository: FSCG. Secondary type information: Secondary type material: 11 paratype workers + queens. Secondary type locality: same as for holotype. Secondary type depositories: ABSV, AMNH, FSCG, LACM, MCZC, USNM. Type notes: Trager does not specify numbers of workers and queens.
