Primary type depository: NHMB. Type notes: Locality data from Santschi, 1914b: 81. Santschi, 1913e: 459, mistakenly gives “Kilimanjaro”. Other syntype locality: 4 minor workers Kenya: Kijabé, Kikuyu Escarpment, 2100 m., st. no. 27, xii.1911 (Ch. Alluaud & R. Jeannel).
