Secondary type localities: 2 paralectotype workers with same data as lectotype, 1 paralectotype worker France: Dijon (Rouget), 1 paralectotype queen France: Marseille (Abeille de Perrin). Secondary type depository: MSNG. Type notes: 1) Original description cites syntype workers, queens, males (numbers not stated). 2) Other original syntype localities: Switzerland: vic.
