Secondary type information: Secondary type material: paratype workers, paratype queens, paratype males (numbers not stated). Secondary type locality: same as for holotype. Secondary type depositories: DRIR, FMNH, AMNH, LACM, MCZC, USNM. Type notes: Cole also mentions long series taken from 7 nests: New Mexico, 5 mi. S Mescalera, 6950 ft, 19.viii.1952 (nests H-423 – H-428, H-433), on state route 24; it is uncertain if these should also be regarded as paratypes.
